The Deutsche Kinemathek is a Museum presenting the history of Film and Television. Its rich archive of moving images and related material are open to the public for research. Further, the Deutsche Kinemathek distributes films.

Cold War Interests: 

In Germany, film and television obviously reacted to the Cold War. Our collection is special in the sense that we have films from both sides of the wall that separated Europe.
